Today's Best Image

In the great majority of photos, it's a clear advantage that the main subject of a photo stands out clearly. In this case however, what made this photo stand out to me was how the woman and the horse blends into the environment. Had the photographer for instance used a strobe to better illuminate the rider, that blending effect would have been diminished. Also, notice how the calm demeanor of the woman fits the rest of the setting superbly. An exuberant, energetic model donning a bright white smile just wouldn't fit in a setting like this.
